Position: Goalkeeper
Owu was part of the Black Stars team that qualified for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, starting and keeping a clean sheet in the 2-0 away win at South Africa and was taken to Germany for the tournament finals – achieving all this as a home-based player.
The goalkeeping legend won the 2003 GPL with Kotoko.
7. Isaac Amoako

Amoako’s fourteen-year career in the Ghana Premier League spanned United and Kotoko.
After four years with the Sunyani-based side, he joined the Reds in 2007 and left after a decade after aiding the Porcupine Warriors to four league honors in 2008, 2012, 2013, and 2014.
6. Soulama Abdoulaye

Notable GPL teams: Hearts of Oak
At his peak, Sammy Adjei was the finest goalkeeper you could find around, not only in Ghana, but across Africa. Won six Ghana Premier League honors in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002.
The former Black Stars first-choice guided Hearts to a historic treble-winning season in 2000 – picking up the GPL, the Ghana FA Cup, and the CAF Champions League.
