Black Galaxies Depart for Egypt : The Black Galaxies of Ghana will leave Ghana for Egypt today to continue their preparations ahead of the 2022 African Nations Championship.
The competition which was originally slated for August 2022 was rescheduled to 2023 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Ghana CHAN team resumed camping at the Ghanaman Center of Excellence some two weeks ago. Annor Walker and his charge are expected to play a number of high profile friendlies in Egypt before heading to Algeria for the commencement of the tournament on January 13th.
Ghana reached the grand final of the maiden edition of the CHAN competition in 2009 and repeated the feat in 2014. However the Ghanaians are yet to win the tournament.
