2023/24 EPL : Thomas Partey starts for Arsenal against Nottingham Forest !

Ghana international midfielder Thomas Partey has been named to start for Arsenal as The Gunners launch their 2023/24 season against Nottingham Forest during opening weekend of the Premier League.

The former Atletico Madrid man was heavily linked with Saudi Arabia and other European sides including Juventus but it appears the Ghanaian will remain at Arsenal.

Arsenal possible starting lineup:

Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber; Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli

Nottingham Forest possible starting lineup:

Turner; Worrall, Boly, McKenna; Aurier, Yates, Danilo, Mangala, Aina; Gibbs-White, Johnson.

Partey joined Arsenal in October 2020 and has gone on to play 100 matches for the club scoring 5 goals in the process.

The match takes place on Saturday afternoon at 12:30 PM.

Starting XI: Ramsdale, Partey, White, Saliba, Timber, Rice, Havertz, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Nketiah

Substitutes: Hein, Tomiyasu, Kiwior, Gabriel, Jorginho, Smith Rowe, Nelson, Vieira, Trossard
