The 2024 Summer Olympics started officially on Friday, 26th July as the international multi-sport event is scheduled to end on Sunday, 11th August, 2024.
Ghana Sports Market’s Gariba Raubil has an update on the final medal table of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Unsurprisingly, the United States ended the Games at the summit of the overall medal standings with 126 medals including 40 gold.
The impressive Team China are next on the rankings with 40 gold, but their 27 silver and 24 bronze medals fell short of that of the United States who secured 44 silver and 42 bronze.
Japan complete the podium at the third place with 20 gold, 12 silver, and 13 bronze as France occupy the 5th position.
