Ghana boss Otto Addo visits Jordan Ayew and Fatawu

Otto Addo Visits Jordan Ayew and Fatawu Issahaku: Black Stars coach Otto Addo has visited Ghana internationals Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku in Leicester.

The former Sporting Lisbon winger was ruled out of the season in November after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

It is the first time Addo is seen with Fatawu and the former Marseille attacker, who scored an amazing freekick in the 2025 AFCON qualifying draw against Angola, following Ghana’s failure to qualify for the next Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted by Morocco.

According to the GFA, the Black Stars boss spent some quality time with the Premier League duo. Fatawu Issahaku is undergoing rehabilitation after being sidelined for the remainder of the season with a serious knee injury while Jordan was an unused substitute in Leicester City’s 4-0 spanking at Newcastle United last time out.

Ghana will be in action again in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar in March next year with the former Tamale City and Dreams FC man not expected to be fully fit for the qualifiers.

Jordan Ayew, who has 29 goals in 109 caps for Ghana, has scored 4 times in 17 appearances for the Foxes this season Fatawu is yet to open his scoring account for the Premier League side this campaign.
