Slavko Matic to be Absent for Kotoko Clash : Hearts of Oak take on Asante Kotoko on Sunday afternoon during the second Super Clash of the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League but head coach Slavko Matic is set to be absent for the Phobians.
On Friday , the Serbian trainer was stopped by section of Hearts of Oak fans from taking charge of the team’s training session at the Pobiman Training Complex.
Matic arrived at the training center but he was not allowed to enter the facility. The expatriate trainer consequently filed a complaint at the Accra regional Police headquarters.
Since the appalling incident happened there has not been any official communication from the club and it is unclear whether Matic will be in dugout or not for the Kotoko game at the Accra sports stadium.
Hearts of Oak lie 6th on the league standings with 28 points in 19 games played. The Phobians have lost three of their last four league matches to Real Tamale United , Aduana Stars and Great Olympics.
Should Matic miss the match , assistant coach David Ocloo will lead the Phobians this afternoon.
