2023 AFCON Qualifiers : Black Stars safely arrive in Luanda for Match-Day 4 match against Angola on Monday

Black Stars Arrive in Luanda : The Black Stars arrived in Luanda, Angola, Saturday night ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations Matchday 4 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola on Monday.

Chris Hughton travelled with 21 players following injuries to captain Andre Ayew, Alexander Djiku, Denis Odoi and Mohammed Salisu.

The team will hold its first training session on Sunday afternoon before the game on Monday, March 27, 2023 at the Estádio 11 de Novembro.

Antoine Semenyo came off the bench to score an important injury time winner for Ghana at the Babayara stadium last Thursday.

The Black Stars lead the Group E standings with 7 points in 3 matches whilst Angola are next on the table with their four points collected from three qualifying games.

Meanwhile Central African Republic are also on four points at the third place but the national team of Hearts of Oak’s attacker Yassan Ouatching have a negative goal difference.

Madagascar is the weakest team in the group with just a point take from their three games contested in Group E.
