Medeama Defeat King Faisal FC To Strengthen GPL Lead : Medeama SC are currently the team of form in the Ghana Premier League after recording their ninth successive home victory against King Faisal FC on Friday.
Samuel Kusi scored a beauty in the 10th minute to put King Faisal ahead but Nurudeen Abdulai equalized for the home team ten minutes later with a clever effort.
In the 67th minute , Joshua Agyemang netted the winning goal for the Yellow and Mauves as Medeama open a four-point lead the summit of the league standings.
The team of Augustine Evans Adotey are now on 56 points after 32 games whilst Aduana are second on 52 points in 31 games contested.
Medeama are also part of the three teams that have amassed the most home points this season ; 39 points. They have done so alongside Nsoatreman FC and Bechem United.
