Abagna and Imoro Arrive in Cairo for Ahly CL Decider : Al – Hilal Omdurman have arrived in Egypt and have had their first training session ahead of the CAF Champions League decider against Al Ahly on Saturday April 1st in Cairo.
The two Ghanaian players , Ibrahim Imoro and David Abagna , are part of the 24-man squad of head coach Florent Ibenge.
The Day Six encounter takes place at the Cairo International stadium.
Al -Hilal are second on the Group B table with 10 points in 5 games played whilst the most successful club of African football are third with a point less.
Mamelodi Sundowns on 11 points taken from their five games have advanced to the knockout stage already as Coton Sport are eliminated.
Ahly were defeated in Omdurman by 1-0 on 18th February 2023 by the People’s Club meaning the Egyptian side need to win by the same margin at least in order to qualify with better goal difference at the expense of the team of Imoro and Abagna.
