“Current Ghanaian football administrators are shallow-minded” – Jonathan Abbey Pobi

Abbey Pobi Attacks Football People : Veteran football administrator Jonathan Abbey Pobi has taken a swipe at current football people in the country saying that they lack basic football administration knowledge. 

“If you look at it very well current football administrators , those who are running clubs and those who have formed their own clubs , they are shallow-minded , their knowledge level is too low. 2 million Dollars , how do you allow the GFA and betPawa to take 1 million aside for promotion. We would never allow this to happen during our time” , the outspoken veteran football administrator said on Kumasi-based Angel FM.

Abbey Pobi continued :

“Do they even do the promotion? I do not think so. For 2 million USD , 25 percent of the money should rather go into promotion and the rest given to the clubs but look at what is happening. They have taken the money but they don’t do the promo. At first they (GFA) give monies to various radio stations for them to promote the league very well but that is not case now”.
