Abednego Tetteh Is a Top Contender for GPL MVP : The former Bechem United and Hearts of Oak attacker is arguably the best transfer business Bibiani Gold Stars have made since their promotion to the Ghana Premier League last season.
The fact that Abednego Tetteh failed to shine at Hearts of Oak and King Faisal meant that there were not too clubs willing to offer him the platform to rediscover his good form.
Tetteh is not a bad player. What he lacked at Hearts of Oak and Faisal was confidence and that is the most important thing Michael Osei has brought to the “Zlatan” of Ghana football.
The 32-year old came to Gold Stars with two goals scored for King Faisal in the first half of the current league campaign and after Week 33 , Tetteh has netted sixteen times taking his seasonal tally to 18 goals.
Gold Stars , 5th on the league table , play at home against Accra Lions on June 11th during the final round of matches of the season and Tetteh could increase his numbers.
As top scorer of his club and leader of goals of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League , the forward is a leading candidate to clinch the Most Valuable Player of the season award.
