Akanbi Continues to Be Involved in Hearts of Oak Transfer Activities : The latest Hearts of Oak transfer news is the acquisition of defender Liventius Arthur from Tamale City and once again embattled board member Brimah Akanbi is actively involved in the transfer activities of the Phobians.
Akanbi is one of the loyal and trusted servants of majority shareholder Togbe Afede XIV.
Despite consistent calls from section of the supporters of the club for Akanbi and fellow board member Vincent Odotei Sowah to leave the club , the most powerful man at Hearts of Oak continues to work the duo.
The Phobians were nearly relegated from the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season and they know that they need to get their deals right for the upcoming season in order to avoid a repetition of such embarrassment.
Akanbi has been a top figure at the club in any transfer window and the 2023/24 window is not an exception.
Meanwhile the 21 year old, Liventius is considered a promising talent in Ghanaian football. His impressive performances for Tamale City FC in the previous season, where he made 29 appearances, caught the attention of Hearts of Oak.
Before joining Tamale City FC, Liventius had been a key player for Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs. Despite interest from other clubs, including newly-promoted Nations FC, Liventius has chosen to join Hearts of Oak for the upcoming season.
