Hearts of Oak Secure Their First Signing of 2023/24 Season

Hearts of Oak Secure Their First Signing of 2023/24 Season

Akanbi Explains Hearts of Oak Player Recruitment System : Hearts of Oak board member Alhaji Brimah Akanbi says majority shareholder of the club Togbe Afede XI is aware of the management activities at the club adding he and Vincent Odotei-Sowah do not decide anything.

According to Akanbi , they take directives from top brasses at the club such as the majority shareholder Togbe Afede.

Many Phobians have raised issues on the fact that the club has started signing new players for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season whilst a substantive head coach is not known but the former Hearts of Oak National Chapters Committee chairman says they know exactly what they are doing.

“Alhaji Akanbi and Odotei cannot just cannot wake up and do things on our own. You can call Samuel Boadu if we imposed a player on him. Take it today or you leave it. We don’t do that.” , the long-serving Hearts of Oak servant said.

“After every recommendation , we also have our technical team. Trust me in Hearts of Oak , the players you are talking about, when we talk to the players we also seek advice from our technical team that they also tell us something good about the players.

We cannot juts rely on what we are told outside and then we go ahead to sign the player. That is how we do it. Hearts of Oak has an owner and so we are not doing things on our own” , Akanbi added.

The Continental Club Masters have confirmed the signing of Tamale City defender Liventius Arthur as many others are expected to arrive.
