“The match promises to be very competitive. The qualification will be decided at the end of the two legs, even if it is important to win this first leg to have a psychological ascendancy”
On his players selected :
“We have selected 26 players who I consider the fittest at the moment.”
On how best he knows the Black Meteors :

On the preparations of his team so far :
“We have assets to put forward. We are preparing ourselves in the best conditions. The only thing that worries me are the injuries, and I hope that we will be spared”, while calling the eastern public and that of Annaba in particular to “make the trip en masse to support the players. Their support will be decisive.”
The second leg will be played on Tuesday March 28 in Kumasi at the Babayara sports stadium.
The U23 AFCON will be played from November 2 to 26, 2023 in Morocco.
