Amateur Coach Sentenced in France : An amateur football coach named as Dylan Bayard has been sentenced to community service in France after he attacked a referee during an U-15 amateur match in 2019.
The 24-year old admitted his guilt today.
“I got it twisted” the 24-year-old man told Nice-Matin .
The court delivered its judgment on Thursday. In accordance with the requisitions, the coach was sentenced to 150 hours of community service.
They will be commuted to three months in prison if they are not carried out.
The educator is also banned from carrying out a voluntary activity involving minors for three years. He is also prohibited from entering an enclosure where a professional or amateur sporting activity takes place.
Finally, he will have to pay 1000 euros in compensation to the victim and 200 euros to the National Union of Football Arbitrators, which had brought a civil action in this case.
