The Breakdown of all the 252 career goals of legendary Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan

Asamoah Gyan Career Goals : Asamoah Gyan excited Ghana football fans with his talent in the 2003 Ghana Premier League on the roster of Liberty Professionals as a 18-year old attacking prodigy.

Gyan was highly-rated in the country as he attracted several interests from known European clubs and as it was expected the talented footballer took his young soccer career to Udinese in the 2003/04 season.

Gyan did not win the most prestigious leagues such as the Premier League , the French Ligue 1 or the Italy Serie A but his goal scoring prowess put him on the map alongside the very best names in the game.

GhanaSportsMarket.com takes you through the full breakdown of all 252 CAREER GOALS of Asamoah Gyan for club and country at the senior level.

For the sake of this analysis we did not consider the goals he scored in the Serie B for Modena in the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons. Only top-flight division records were considered. The list is in order of the teams he scored the most number of goals for to the least.

1.He scored 123 goals in 123 games for Al Ain of United Arab Emirates.

He scored 48.8 per cent of his professional career goals here. 123 out of 252. This was really his league. For instance in the 2013/14 season Gyan netted 44 times in 41 games for Al Ain ; that is more goals than games for the Ghana legend.

This is the most prolific part of the over seventeen-year career of Asamoah Gyan. 123 goals in 4 seasons at Al Ain in 123 games was crazy. Gyan averaged a goal every game during his stay in the UAE and this is where the ‘Baby Jet” scored majority of his professional career goals.

People might say he did it in a weaker league but the records goes into the history books for Gyan.

2.Gyan has 51 goals for Ghana since making debut in 2003.

Well the next team Gyan netted the most goal for is actually the Black Stars of Ghana.

This includes 7 goals scored at the FIFA World Cup making him till date the highest African goal-scorer at the Coupe du Monde.

The likes of Samuel Eto’o, Didier Drogba, Roger Milla, Emmanuel Adebayor and co all are miserable in comparison to Gyan when it comes to goals at the FIFA World Cup.

Even disturbed with injuries Gyan still managed to score some goals in Turkey in the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons.
