Asante Kotoko defeated lower-tier side Namoro Academy on Wednesday in a friendly matched played at the Paa Joe Park at KNUST.
The test match was arranged by Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum to keep his team in shape ahead of their Ghana Premier League match-day four encounter against Accra Lions.
Stiker Kalo Ouattara who arrived from Berekum Chelsea and newly signed winger Bernard Somuah were both on target with the former Chelsea man hitting a brace.
Richmond Lamptey scored the other goal for the Reds.
