Black Stars defence

Black Stars defence : The most successful national team of the FIFA World Cup go into the friendly game against Ghana with nineteen goals netted in their last six outings.

The 19 goals have been scored in both competitive and friendly matches. Bolivia , Chile and Paraguay were all humiliated 4-0 each during the FIFA World Cup qualification series of the South American zone.

Otto Addo’s defence is one of the areas of attention ahead of the high-profile friendly match. 19 goals in 6 games is staggering.

Brazil thrashed South Korea by 5-0 on 2nd June during an international friendly and Japan were beaten by Tite’s side by 1-0 four days later.

Only Ecuador were able to hold the star-studded Brazilian team back in January this year in a 1-1 World Cup qualifying drawn game.

Black Stars defence has a big job to do

Brazil take on Ghana at the Stade Oceane in Le Havre on Friday in a friendly encounter during the international break. Both teams are preparing for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup finals.

PSG forward Neymar Jnr and Tottenham Hotspurs attacker Richarlison lead the pack with 4 goals each whilst former Liverpool and Barcelona midfielder Coutinho has scored 3 goals out of the last 19 of the Brazilian national team.

Coming up against such a hot attack means the defence of the Black Stars have a tough job to do on Friday.
