CAF Confederation Cup : Karim Zito speaks about Dreams FC preparations so far !

Dreams FC tactician Abdul Karim Zito has opened up on the club’s preparations ahead of their clash against Guinean outfit Milo FC this weekend.

The Still Believe lads are set for their first African campaign after emerging as winners in the FA Cup competition last-term.

Milo FC will host Dreams FC on Saturday, August 19 before the reverse fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium a week later.

The FA Cup champions have been in camp for weeks preparing for their maiden African campaign. They have engaged Samartex, Black Galaxies and Heart of Lions as part of preparation for the upcoming campaign.

On Tuesday, the Still Believe lads made light work of Premier League returnees, Heart of Oak, inflicting a convincing 3-0 win over the Kpando-based club at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Speaking to Kessben FM , Zito expressed satisfaction with preparations so far ahead of their opening game against Milo FC in the Confederations Cup.

“It’s our last preparatory game (Heart of Lions). We have a day to recover and take off on Thursday. At the moment, I will say everything is fine. We will depart to Guinea on Thursday morning”

“The performance of my players is not bad, they played to instruction against Heart of Lions. The players were wasteful when we played the Black Galaxies but today, they took their chances against Lions and that is a good thing for us.

I saw an improved team against Heart of Lions, creativity and conversion rate was good, so I’m okay” he said.

As Ghana’s representative in the Confederations Cup, the Still Believe lads has been doing everything possible in order make impact in their debut campaign in Africa.

The club has been busy on the transfer market in search of quality players to bolster their squad for the next football campaign.

They have secured the services of experienced striker John Antwi and other players to bolster their squad for the campaign.
