Chaka Sidibe : The 22-year old versatile midfielder netted a superb brace against Hearts of Oak during the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Second Preliminary Round match on Saturday as AS Real Bamako dominated the Ghanaian side by 3-0.

The game was played at the Stade du 26 Mars in Bamako and arguably the man of the match , Chaka Sidibe,  is a product of the famous JMG Academy in Mali. He joined AS Real in 2018 and has since become one of their best players.

The Malian side eliminated AS Douanes of Burkina Faso in the First Preliminary Round as Hearts of Oak received a bye to reach this stage.

AS Real dominated the FA Cup holders of Ghana with goals from Sidibe who scored a brace in the 11th and 31st minutes before Cheickne Diakite killed the game fifteen minutes from time.

But it was the top performance of the versatile Sidibe that caught the attention of the public. Capable of creating danger in both central midfield and on the wings , the youngster was key to the home side.
