“I was never benched at Hearts of Oak during my three years at the club” – Charles Taylor reveals !

Charles Taylor Rips into Annor Walker and Ibrahim Tanko : Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko great Charles Taylor has ripped into Black Galaxies head coach Annor Walker and Black Meteors boss Ibrahim Tanko whilst questioning goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad’s abilities.

Great Olympics head trainer Walker and Accra Lions technical boss Tanko form part of the top local coaches in the Ghana Premier League but the duo miserably failed with the Galaxies and Ghana Olympic soccer team at the 2023 CHAN and 2023 CAF U23 AFCON respectively and Taylor has expressed his disappointment.

“Let us face the reality now. How many Ghanaian players are able to succeed in Tunisia or Egypt nowadays. There are almost none.” , Charles Taylor said on Kumasi-based Fox FM.

“When you travel , that is when you realize that we don’t have quality coaches here. Travel and you see the difference and that is why our players fail to replicate their form over there. They have excellent coaches there. But here what we have are local champions. If you cannot win games against Madagascar , Guinea and co , then what are you?. Simply they are not good enough to compete outside Ghana” , Taylor stated.

“One goalkeeper (Danlad Ibrahim) conceded 8 goals in one tournament but here you guys say he is the best. So you can clearly see that we are joking here” , the former Ghana international added.
