Chris Hughton on Mohammed Kudus Quality : Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton has spoken about how best he can utilize FC Ajax playmaker Mohammed Kudus as he prepares to take charge of this first match as new Ghana boss.
The Ajax offensive player has been involved in 23 goals in all competitions for the Dutch side so far this season.
“With regards to Kudus, he is a player that can play in numerous positions. Everybody can have an opinion on his best position. For me it’s just about getting the right balance for the team.” , Hughton said during a ceremony in Kumasi where he was unveiled to the media on Monday.
“Sometimes depending on the opponents we make the right decision for the team to get the best result. But we all know about the quality of Mohammed Kudus and his importance to the team.”
Ghana play against Angola on Thursday for Match-Day Three fixture of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification series before traveling to Luanda for the reverse match four days later and Kudus is as usual expected to be a key player for Chris Hughton’s new Black Stars team.
