Veteran sports journalist Kwabena Gyamfi popularly known as Joe Laka wants head coach of the Black Stars , Chris Hughton , to be sacked and replaced before the next edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.
This follows Ghana’s poor form in the two international friendlies played against Mexico and the USA during the international break. The Mexicans imposed a 2-0 defeat against the Black Stars before the Americans humiliated the team of Chris Hughton with a 4-0 victory.
Joe Laka believes the former Brighton and Holve Albion manager has nothing better to offer the Ghanaian team and wants him to be fired immediately.
“Chris Hughton should not lead us to the AFCON. He will not help us. Even in the middle of the tournament , coaches are sacked and so Hughton can be sacked now.” , the Kessben FM sports host stated on Wednesday.
Ghana are placed in the same Group as Egypt , Mozambique and Cape Verde at the Africa Cup of Nations that kicks off early next year.
