Brendan Rodgers dismissed in early April and the team of Daniel Amartey waited only a few days before formalizing the arrival of his new coach on Monday evening.
The former English center-back is highly regarded as one of the greatest defenders of the Premier League as the Black Stars defender Amartey is set to benefit from working with him.
Without a club since December and his departure from Norwich in the Championship , Dean Smith is the lucky one and will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of the Foxes in the elite.
Smith is a former coach of Aston Villa between 2018 and 2021 and has signed a contract till the end of the season and arrives with the John Terry who was his assistant coach at Villa.
