The head coach of Nations Football Club, Coach Kassim Mingle rued missed chances on Wednesday afternoon after his team lost to Dreams Football Club.
The gaffer was on the touchline when his team played their first-ever match in the Ghanaian top-flight league.
In a game played at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu, a solitary equaliser from Ebenezer Adade in the 8th minute sealed a narrow win for the hosts.
Speaking after the game, Coach Kassim Mingle said the early goal from Dreams FC affected the play of Nations FC.
He said his team will learn from today’s game and do better in the next league match.
“We had ample opportunities but couldn’t capitalize. The early goal affected our momentum but the key is learning from today’s performance to improve in our next match,” Coach Kassim Mingle said.
Up next for Nations FC, the team will host Samartex FC on Sunday, September 24. The game will kick off at 3 p.m. at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
