OPINION : The Black Meteors failed in Morocco but Emmanuel Yeboah did not disappoint us !

Emmanuel Yeboah Is the Brightest Spot : It is all over for the Ghana Olympic team. The Black Meteors have been dumped out of the ongoing 2023 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco following a draw against Guinea on Friday night.

The Ghana U23 team needed to win the game in order to advance to the last four but Ibrahim Tanko’s side failed to deliver the goods.

Despite taking the lead in the 33rd minute through lanky striker Emmanuel Yeboah , the Ghanaian team failed to win the contest as Ibrahima Breze scored one of the most beautiful goals of the tournament to equalize for Guinea in the 61st.

Yeboah thus scored three goals in three games and currently he and Abde Ezzalzouli of Morocco are the joint-top scorers of the tournament.

Ghana scored five goals at the competition and three of those strikes came from the boots of the CFR Cluj attacker who has been tipped by many to reach greater heights in football.

Afriyie Barnieh , Abdul Fatawu and Ernest Nuamah was expected to be the biggest source of goals for Ibrahim Tanko’s team but Yeboah took matters into his own hands to be the leading attacker of the Ghana Olympic football team.

Overall Ghana failed but Emmanuel Yeboah represents the bright side. He was simply outstanding.
