Eric Bekoe to GFA on Asamoah Gyan : Former Asante Kotoko striker Eric Kwabena Bekoe wants the Ghana Football Association to make good use of the experience of the country’s all-time top goal scorer Asamoah Gyan.
Bekoe wants the legendary African striker to be given a special role of mentoring and coaching strikers of the Ghana national men’s team.
“Goal scoring is being learnt. Football is scientific now and can’t be compared to previous years. To me, it will be prudent to get strikers coach, in the person of Asamoah Gyan who is our all-time top scorer.” , Bekoe is quoted to have told Angel TV.
“I insist Gyan is made strikers coach of the Black Stars and God being so good, he’s got his license. He’s done it before and can help us solve our goal-scoring problems,” , the 2007/08 Ghana Premier League Goal King added.
Gyan has 51 goals for Ghana in 109 international matches.
