Ernest Nuamah Scores Ghana’s 1st Goal at 2023 U23 AFCON : Nordsjaelland winger Ernest Nuamah Appiah became the first player to score a goal for Ghana at the 2023 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations that kicked off Sunday June 25th in Morocco.
The talented youngster , recently called to the Black Stars team for the first time by Ghana head coach Chris Hughton for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification match against Madagascar netted in the 50th minute to put Ghana ahead against Congo.
CFR Club player Emmanuel Yeboah assisted Nuamah to score before Yeboah himself scored to make it 2-0 in the 76th minute.
The Group A match is ongoing and the Black Meteors lead by 2-0.
