WAFU Zone B U17 Championship: Ghana Take on Nigeria for 3rd-place Position on Tuesday

Ghana vs Nigeria WAFU Zone B U17 Championship: The Black Starlets of Ghana will take on Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets on Tuesday, May 28, to battle for a third-place finish at the WAFU Zone B U17 Championship.

Both youth national teams of the West African rivals lost their semi-final games and missed out on a place in the finals.

Before the tournament comes to an end, there is a chance to clinch third-place.

The highly-anticipated third-place finish showdown between Ghana and Nigeria will be played at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The Black Starlets wrapped up preparations for the game with a final training session on Monday.

The Starlets want to win third place to appease the home fans for their inability to make it to the finals to have the chance to finish as champions.
