Ghanaian Coaches Back Ransford Antwi for Sunyani East: A retired footballer and coach, Mr. Kofi Ntow Gyan says Mr. Ransford Antwi’s, move to contest the Sunyani East Constituency Parliamentary Seat as Independent Candidate is a very wise decision influenced by his love for his Home Town.
“Looking at Ransford’s Candidature, his works, personality traits and commitment level towards the development of Sunyani and Bono Regions, he stands tall and I see him to be the best person and the one capable of making a big difference in Parliament and pushing for Sunyani and Bono’s development”, Mr. Ntow Gyan told thefourlens.com News.
According to the football legend, widely cherished by the followers of BA United and Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Mr. Ransford Antwi, through his benevolence chose to sponsor him(Ntow Gyan) Nana Adarkwa among others to pursue a career in Coaching.
This singular effort of Mr. Antwi changed our lives for the better and people like him are rare to find these days.
Mr. Ransford Antwi, an indigene of Sunyani and business man is contest as an Independent Candidate.
He is the Chief Executive Director for Suncity Group of Companies in Sunyani and a Board Member, Ohio African Community Excellence Award, United States of America (USA).
Ohio African Community Excellence Award is a leading International award scheme to recognize individuals, groups, businesses and organizations making remarkable impacts in Africa Communities.
In a related development, Mr. Kofi Sarfo Castro has reiterated “Ransford Antwi’s dedication towards sports development in the region, as well as direct support for humanity can never be underestimated, let’s give him the chance to do more”.
Another retired footballer by name Pastor Simon implored the people of Sunyani and Bono region to “put away party colors and support this worthy developmental cause for the goodness of the people and the region”.

“it’s no longer NPP/NDC, but rather let’s look out for who would bring the survival and socioeconomic growth of our community, Region and the Nation’s democracy”.
Pastor Simon invoked the spirit of gods, water bodies and ancestors of Sunyani and Bono lands to support Mr. Antwi’s good cause throughout his campaign and all other activities before, during and after the December 2024 general elections.
