Gold Stars Defeat Faisal : Bibiani Gold Stars recorded a 2-1 win over King Faisal FC during Week 5 of the betPawa Ghana Premier League on Sunday as Ibrahim Laar scored a brace.
The former Techiman Eleven Wonders striker scored two quick-fire goals in the 32nd and 36th minutes before King Faisal pulled one back at stoppage time from the spot through Haruna Mohammed.
The victory has taken Gold Stars to 13th position on the league log with 6 points after 5 games played whilst Faisal are bottom of the standings without a single point in as 5 matches contested in 2022/23.
