Hearts of Oak in Crisis Ahead of Kotoko Clash : Hearts of Oak are experiencing a bad situation as head coach Slavko Matic spends time at the Accra Regional Police headquarters on Friday after some irate fans of the Phobians chased him out at the Pobiman Training Facility.
The Serbian trainer files a complaint as his safety in the capital is threatened.
The Phobians take on Asante Kotoko in the biggest soccer fixture of the country on Sunday during Match-week 20 of the betPawa Ghana Premier League.
Matic’s side has lost their last two league outings against Aduana Stars and Great Olympics. The Phobians are 6th on the league standings after 19 matches contested and some fans want the head coach fired.
Meanwhile the club released a statement on Friday morning urging the fans to remain calm but it appears the fans disregard the message going on to stop the coach from entering the Pobiman training complex.
