Hearts of Oak midfielder Nurudeen Abdul Aziz speaks about his injury recovery process

Hearts of Oak midfielder Nurudeen Abdul Aziz has spoken about his recovery from the injury that ruled him out of action for most part of the 2021/22 season and the entire 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

“It was one game against Legon Cities that I got injured. We drew that game and I think it was 1-1” , the touh-tackling midfielder said.

“There was this 50-50 ball and I took the ball in front of the Legon Cities midfielder and he had a stamp against my knee and that is how I got that knee meniscus injury” , he explained.

“Alhamdulillah is all that I could say because I didn’t know I could come back so quick. At least the knees are getting better and they are more healthier and Insha Allah you guys will see me back on the pitch doing the normal thing I used to do”

The combative midfielder also spoke about the pre-season of the Phobians so far :

“It has been tough but at least that will make us better , the coaches too are doing well , they are doing a massive job and I can see that our fitness level is going up. So at least the pre-season is putting us into shape”

“You know that I didn’t play the whole of last season. I didn’t play the whole of last season and some of the new players don’t know me and I know some by faces anytime I come to stadium to watch our games.” , he added.

The Continental Club Master were almost relegated from the Ghana Premier League last season and are determined to correct the wrongs this term.

Liventius Athur has arrived from Tamale City , former Legon Cities defender Michael Ampadu has joined as well as Kelvin Osei Asibbey who was bought from Division One side Eleven Wonders.
