The principal scout for Hearts of Oak , Mr. Sebastian Barnes , says it will be difficult for the team of Martin Koopman to start gelling immediately at the start of the new Ghana Premier League season considering the fact that both the technical team and most of the starting players are new.
The Phobians have won one game , lost twice and recorded one drawn game after their opening four league matches of the season.
Hearts of Oak failed to win at home against Dreams FC on Sunday at the Accra sports stadium during Week Four of the league but Barnes , a former player of the Continental Club Masters , believes it will take some time for the team to work well.
“As for me my job was to scout players , recommend to the club and that is what I did. You know the technical team is new and most of the players too are also new and so it will take time for the team to start to know each other. I think with time things will begin to be nice , there is more room for improvement.
For me I have done my job and the rest is for the head coach , he has to know what tactics to use and how to blend the materials available to him” , Sebastian Barnes told Ghanasportspage.com.
