Jordan and Amartey on the Bench : Ghana duo Jordan Ayew and Daniel Amartey are both named as substitutes by managers Roy Hodgson and Brendan Rodgers respectively for Saturday’s Week 29 Premier League match at the Selhurst Park.
The two players were unbeaten with the Black Stars of Ghana against Angola during Match-Day Three and Match-Day Four of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification series.
Ghana defeated Angola by 1-0 in Kumasi on March 23rd with Jordan and Amartey as starters. The duo started again as the Black Stars drew 1-1 in the reverse match in Luanda on March 27th.
Meanwhile Jeffrey Schlupp starts for Palace.
