Jordan Continues to See a Rise in Form :
The former Marseille striker came off the bench to provide a brilliant match-wining assist as Palace defeated Leicester City by 2-1 on April 1st with Mateta scoring the winning goal in the 94th minute.
The Ghanaian had replaced the injured Wilfried Zaha in the 45th minute with the score at 0-0. Ayew went ahead to make great contributions helping his team to win and it was Roy Hodgson’s first game in charge of the side since replacing Patrick Vieira.
The veteran manager was left impressed by the Ghanaian footballer and therefore rewarded him with a starting place in a difficult away match at Leeds United. With his two goals netted in the 5-1 humiliation of the home team on Sunday , Ayew has repaid Hodgson’s confidence in him.
Palace are now 12th on the EPL Standings with 33 points after 30 games and are safe from the relegation battle of the season for now but they know that they must keep winning and getting good results to be completely free from the relegation zone.
