Journalist Delivers Damning Assessment of GFA Congress in Kumasi : The 29th Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association took place on Monday July 10th at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi and Stephen Zando , a journalist working with Nhyira FM and Luv FM has delivered a damning assessment of the meeting.
According to Zando , the so-called football people are the very people that are letting the association down.
“After yesterday’s congress, I have come to realize that the problem with Ghana football is the football people. Come on, the items were sent to members of the convocation to scrutinize and send in counter motion/proposal if any.”

“But no one contested any of the items through the proper channel before Congress was held yesterday. It appears, those sitting on the fence are worried about happenings in Gh football but those who matter; the football people who take the decisions are satisfied.
Even the antagonists of this FA who were part of Congress yesterday couldn’t raise any salient point to oppose or counter any of the motions. Very Disappointing!!!!
Journalists will do their best, trumpet the problems but if you the congress members who should challenge issues at the right quarters can’t do that, then who should take the blame?” , he concluded.
