King Faisal’s Protest Against Tamale City Fails : The GFA Disciplinary Committee has dismissed King Faisal FC’s protest case against Tamale City FC in relation to their betPawa Premier League Matchweek 30 game which was played at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
King Faisal FC protested against their opponent for fielding an unqualified player,Isaac Mensah in the said match who they claim has another registration in the system as Jireh Kojo Nissi.
The Disciplinary Committee however ruled that the player Isaac Mensah who played in the said match was duly qualified to play.
The GFA Prosecutor has however been tasked to investigate the registration of Jireh Kojo Nissi and locate and charge all guilty parties in his registration.
The decision has been communicated to all parties accordingly.
Faisal are 17th on the Ghana Premier League standings on 36 points in 32 games played as they are bound for relegation from the Ghanaian top-flight.
Despite their poor form in the league this season , the Insha Allahu Boys will contest the 2023 MTN FA Cup final against Dreams FC.
