Full Time – Accra Lions 0 Asante Kotoko 1 : Sarfo Taylor on target as Porcupine Warriors register 13th win of the season to keep their 4th position

Kotoko Defeat Accra Lions in Accra : Asante Kotoko recorded their thirteenth win of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season on Saturday evening following their 1-0 victory at Accra Lions.

Striker Solomon Sarfo Taylor scored the only goal of the game in the 22nd minute with a clever header as Kotoko held on to win the Week 33 match.

The goal was the 3rd of the season for the former Karela United striker. Taylor may have struggled for form this season but he is ending the campaign on a high note with his second goal in four games.

The 2021/22 league winners now play at home against Dreams FC on June 11th during Week 34.
