Kurt Okraku Says Ghana Has Big Coaching Issues : President of the Ghana Football Association , Kurt Okraku , says the two biggest problems drawing Ghana football back are coaching and refereeing and there is the urgent need for the association to find solutions.
The quality of officiating and coaching in the Ghana Premier League and for the national teams have not been the best in recent times and the GFA boss wants the association to quickly to look for ways and means to deal with the setbacks.
“I have already said that the biggest problems facing our game are coaching and refereeing. We have big coaching problems in Ghana.” , the GFA President said in his speech at the 29th Ordinary Congress of the GFA at the Great Hall of the KNUST in Kumasi on Monday.
“But we are committed at fixing this problem. Most importantly we want to encourage our heroes , our ex national team players to be interested in coaching.
We want to offer them facilities that will encourage them to go into coaching and one such facilities will be a 50 % discount in all payments relating to the acquisition of coach licenses by our ex national team players” , Kurt Okraku added.
