Legon Cities To Change Direction of the Club : Legon Cities communication director Kwame Dwomoh Agyemang says the club is looking at new way of doing things in terms of player recruitment.
The new owners of the club formerly known as Wa All Stars invested huge sums of money into player sales bringing the likes of Asamoah Gyan , Elvis Opoku , Baba Mahama and co to the team.
However , the club has failed to sustain this transfer plan that requires constant investment of fortunes as a number of those big names are no more at the club and according to the club’s spokesman , they are now changing their direction.
“I like the fact that you mentioned direction. Every season and its direction for the club just like the European clubs normally do. We have short term plans , long term plans and medium term plans. I don’t think there is a company and this world with just one single plan.” . he said on Fox FM in Kumasi.
“If you look at the past two to three years that the owners took over the club , you will realize each season we try to change things a little bit. So we are still looking at our new plans for the upcoming season and we shall communicate it publicly for everyone to know it” , he added.
Meawhile Cities have confirmed the appointment of Samuel Kwesi Fabin as new head coach following the exit of Maxwell Konadu who joined Nsoatreman FC.
