Hearts of Oak head coach Martin Koopman says he is delighted with striker Hamza Issah despite the lack of goals of the youngster in the current Ghana Premier League season.
The Phobians were held at the Accra sports stadium by FC Samartex on Saturday afternoon during Week Six of the league season.
Koopman , whose team has won just one game after five league matches this season , has compared Issah to the great Brazilian player Romario.
“I am very happy for Hamza. I see him jumping and see some things from Romario the Brazilian player ” , Koopman said after the match on Saturday.
The former Aruba national team coach went on to generalize the scoring difficulties of his team as a general Ghana issue as he mentions the national team also struggle in terms of quality strikers and wingers.
“Look! There’s a deep problem with Ghanaian football. I will tell you in a short time. The problem is also with the national team, wingers, and strikers. I keep saying, Not only with us, but also with the national team and other clubs.” , he added.
