Medeama can go top of the Ghana Premier League with a win against Hearts of Oak today

Medeama Can Go Top of GPL Table with Win at Hearts : Medeama SC could displaced Aduana FC from the summit of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League standings if the Yellow and Mauves are able to defeat Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon during Week 31 of the league season.

This follows the defeat of the league leaders by Accra Lions who destroyed the Ogya Boys by 3-0 with goals from Baba Salifu Apiiga , Evans Botchway and Seidu Bassit.

Aduana (52 points in 31 matches) now lead the league with just a point over second-placed Bechem United (51 points) meaning Medeama can claim the top spot if they could achieve a big victory at Hearts of Oak.

The Yellow and Mauves have won two Ghana FA Cups in their history but they have never been champions of Ghana and this presents a golden opportunity to the club of Moses Armah Parker to try to clinch their maiden league success.

Medeama have recorded some impressive wins on the road this season such as the victories at King Faisal and Asante Kotoko but Augustine Evans Adotey and his team know that the Phobians will be tough customers at home especially as Hearts of Oak seek to enter into the Top 4.
