Medeama Hold RTU in Tamale : Real Tamale United were held at home to a 1-1 drawn game by Medeama SC on Wednesday as the Yellow and Mauves needed a second half equalizer to avoid a defeat.
The home team took an early lead through Mohammed Makuyeli in the 3rd minute. It was his first goal of the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League.
Medeama equalized ten minutes after the hour mark thanks to Derrick Fordjour who netted in the 70th minute to salvage a point for his team at the Aliu Mahama sports stadium.
The outcome of the mid-week encounter leaves Medeama at the 8th position with 28 points after 19 matches whilst Real Tamale United are 12th on the league standings with 25 points.
