Medeama To Face Remo Sports Club of Nigeria in CAF CL : Medeama SC will face Nigeria side Remo Stars Sports Club in the preliminary round of the 2023/23 CAF Champions League.
The draw was conducted on Tuesday and the winner of the tie will take on Guinean giants Horoya AC in the second preliminary round before the group stage.
The first leg will tale place in Ghana between 18 – 19 August this year whilst the second leg is slated for Nigeria on 25th or 26th August.
The Yellow and Mauves are the only representative of Ghana in the most prestigious CAF club competition but Nigeria entered two teams (Enyimba and Remo Stars SC) as the place within the first 12 associations on the 5-year CAF Rankings.
Meanwhile Dreams FC , winners of the 2022/23 MTN FA Cup , play in the CAF Confederation Cup.
