Mohammed Alhassan Makes Kotoko Debut : Asante Kotoko recorded their fourth clean sheet on the road in the Ghana Premier League this season as Mohammed Alhassan made his debut for the Porcupine Warriors against Nsoatreman FC.
The Week 18 encounter ended 0-0 in Nsoatre on Saturday.
The former Hearts of Oak center-back was handed a start by coach Seydou Zerbo and he was joined in central defence by Sherif Mohammed as Mubarik Yussif continues to be side-lined due to an injury.
Kotoko , before the Nsoatre trip , had lost at Karela United and Dreams FC in their last two away outings and with the inclusion of the experienced Alhassan , they managed to avoid a defeat against the Premier League newcomers.
The former WAFA defender put in a strong performance and he is expected to be a reliable man at the back for the defending league champions.
Kotoko now face Aduana Stars in the Round of 16 of the MTN FA Cup in Dormaa. The match is slated for February 26th.
