Nations FC boss Kasim Mingle believes his team has a good chance to win the Ghana Premier League after returning to winning ways last Saturday.

Mingle’s side defeated Legon Cities 3-0 at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex to move fourth in the league standings with 25 points after 14 games, just two adrift of table toppers Heart of Lions.

”It is a competition we are playing. We’ve not ended the first round of the league. Any team that plays the league would want to win it. So, we also want to win it. If we get the chance, we will grab it.” Kasim Mingle said after his team’s 3-0 win over Legon Cities.

Before the home success against Cities, Nations had lost two in a row, 1-0 each to Berekum Chelsea and Accra Lions.

Nations FC boss Kasim Mingle eyes GPL title which would be is first league trophy after coming close during his stints with Bechem United.
