Nations FC head coach Kasim Mingle says he is not worried by the absence of key players following his team’s 3-0 triumph against Legon Cities during Matchweek 14 of the Ghana Premier League.
The team got back to winning ways with an emphatic success against Cities on Saturday with goals from Nafiu Sulemana who bagged a brace and Berimah Baah.
Nafiu netted in the 7th and 32nd minutes to condemn his former side at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex before Baah made it 3-0 midway through the second half for Nations who were without main marksman Faisal Charwetey and defender Razak Simpson.
The prolific striker and the reliable center-back are on international duties with the Black Galaxies who play against Nigeria in a CHAN qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
”That is why we registered a lot of players to play. If someone is not there, someone will be there. We played against Kotoko without Razak, you see. So, that means they (available players) have to play,” the veteran coach said.
”Those who play, I don’t think they played bad. We are building a team, not individuals. So, if there is no one player, we have to get another to play. If we cannot get anyone to play, then it means we don’t have any business staying here.”, the former Bechem United boss added.
