Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer to Play in Ghana : Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer switched allegiance to Ghana in order to represent the Black Stars in July 2022 and he is set to experience the electrifying atmosphere at the Kumasi Babayara sports stadium on Thursday.
Ghana take on Angola for their Match-Day Three encounter of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification series and the Hamburger SV striker is part of the 25-man squad Chris Hughton invited.
Yeboah was born to a Ghanaian father and a German-Guadeloupean mother. The player therefore was able to choose to represent either the countries at international level but picked the Black Stars.
He debuted with Ghana as a late substitute in a 1–0 friendly win over Nicaragua on 27 September 2022. He was however excluded from Ghana’s 2022 World Cup squad, declaring himself “disappointed”.
