Otumfour Set To Maintain Kwame Kyei as Kotoko Board Chairman : Otumfour Osei Tutu II is set to maintain Dr. Kwame Kyei as the chairman of board of directors of Asante Kotoko and this is according to a report by Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.
The Ghanaian oil tycoon has held top positions at the club since 2016.
He was named executive board chairman on 12th November , 2016 and on 20th May , 2020 he became the board chairman as Nana Yaw Amponsah was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the club on 7th August , 2020.
After three years of service , the great Asantehene is considering reforming the Kwame Kyei-led board ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Currently , it is not clear what Yaw Amponsah’s future looks like in Kumasi as reports suggest football administrator and Kessben FM journalist Frederick Acheampong is likely to replace the former as Kotoko CEO.
The Porcupine Warriors finished 4th in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season and will take part of the upcoming GHALCA Top 4 to take place in Kumasi.
